Printer test
Badges already keep clear of the edge the printer can't reach. If an edge is still cut off, raise this a little and print again. It's saved on this computer and used for every badge it prints.
In the print dialog
- Use Google Chrome. It follows the label size this page asks for most reliably.
- Destination: your label printer (Brother QL-820NWB).
- If you see Paper size, choose 62mm x 100mm (DK-1202).
- Open More settings: Margins None, Scale Default or 100, and untick Headers and footers.
What a good result looks like
- Alignment label: it fills the whole label on purpose, to show where your printer stops. The dashed box (4 mm in) should be fully visible. If even the solid box (1 mm in) is complete, your printer reaches almost to the edge.
- Badges: a thin white border all round and nothing cut off.
- One label comes out per badge, with no blank labels in between.
- The long name on badge 2 shrinks to fit on one line.
If something is off, see docs/PRINTING.md in the project for fixes.
Preview at 100 × 62 mm. The printed badge is exactly this design.
